Beautiful.
I wish MAM still used carbon steel for blades. They are Stainless only now. ☹️

There is a 30/50/70 percent chance of rain in the next couple of hours depending on who you believe 🌂 Its very still at the moment. A few birds are singing and one owl occasionally asks "who" although I can hear occasional thunder in the distance. I plan to either do some light yard work or watch the Indy car race which is in my old hometown of Detroit 🏎️
Either way, I'm not going to work too hard :)

Y'all have a good one 🤠

What with our latest adventure with our new Samsung Galaxy Smartphones I'm befuddled. I've got the phones set up with Wi-Fi Calling which is all I really want as we have no cell phone signal here at the house since the old analog bag phone days with 3.5 W system. The only reason we got the smart phones is because the T-Mobile Store was out of flip phones. Ever so often, the phones play a little tune/signal that goes "ding, ding ding, ding. At first I thought it meant we had an incoming phone call but that's not the case so I'll just sit here befuddled all day. When the T-Mobile store gets a new supply of flip phones in, I just might swap this smart phone for a flip phone. In the mean time, I'll chicken eye and coon finger this 1986 Case 6292 Texas Jack. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

I just received these two "Merendeiras" from José da Cruz, my first Portuguese knives. One in carbon steel and the other in stainless. The name's just great, I don't know if it means the same in Portuguese but "merienda" in Spanish is an afternoon meal, my favourite.

Good purchase, Francisco. 👍
You're absolutely right, the afternoon meal in Portugal is called "Merenda," and those knives are good for cutting cheese, chorizo, and also bread. ;)
