Stag/Horn Knife of the Week is a Schrade-Wostenholm I*XL stag canoe I won in a GAW here several years ago. Upon its arrival, I found that its serial number was my birth date in DD/MM format! Is that karma, or what?? 😲

Work Knife of the Week is an Italian CEM agricultural knife with bubinga covers IIRC, displayed on a sycamore leaf; I really like this knife:

I'd like to present my Victorinox 1.5793. According to SAKWiki, this model is referred to as the 'Champion C'. It represents the transitional model between the original Champ (1952-1986) and the current SwissChamp. Production began in 1973 and it was discontinued with the introduction of pliers in 1985 (when the SwissChamp took over). It arrived in great condition; it only needed a bit of PolyWatch for the scales and a good oiling.

How to identify it? It does not feature pliers, the magnifying glass is made of gray plastic, the scissors use a screw instead of a rivet, it includes a Phillips screwdriver, and the reamer has no hole. Regarding the tang stamp on the main blade, the 'v' in Victorinox is not oversized (it is the same size as the rest of the letters), and the keyring attachment is on the opposite side compared to a modern SwissChamp.

This is what the Champ used to be...
