Off to town soon to mail bills, grecery shop at the Holiday Market, and have breakfast at the Wagon Wheel Cafe - restricted to coffee and a mashed up scrambled egg and maybe if I'm lucky a chopped up, crumbled piece of sausage. This Case 6347 Barn Shield Stockman will be my carry for this adventure.

Ah that is a knife I originally made for my friend DocJekl , called Bitty Bitey Baby Birdie. If I recall correctly it is one of only a few I made in 8670 with thick stock and an aggressive top swedge. I promise you won't lose your man card if you say the name out loud. Not with those who matter anyway!

I really like smooth, natural bone!

Jeff, I found these at a local flea market for less than 20 dollars Gec's smooth oiled bone looks fabulous. Especially after the bone soaks up a little sweat.

I can’t explain how much I enjoy this swing guard. It’s been a while since I felt this excitement about a knife. It just oozes traditional knife vibes. Absolutely love the grain of my ironwood too, you can feel it when running your finger over it
