Thanks. Nice one you have there, too. I got mine several years ago as sort of an expensive walking stick for our daily walks. It got used occasionally, but it's been really earning its keep lately, since my one knee started hurting on long walks. It really helps.

Our sweet daughter got up with the sun, which is her habit, and Vik let me sleep til 7:00. Duncan woke me up when he started barking at the nice heavy rain shower hitting the roof. Looks like we should get close to an inch, which is about what the garden needs every week. Most welcome.

I am a little excited to be re-joining the band for rehearsal this morning, after three weeks of watching from the sidelines after my knee replacement. Kept thinking "they really need a lead guitar up there".

I'm not playing out these days, but before I do again I will either sub a non-Fender in for my Tele or cover up the logo on the headstock. It's pretty sad what Fender has become. (Like Rick's Strat in that video, my Tele needed about $300 worth of mods to make it fully useful.)

Yes, the lawsuit is a big topic on guitar forums. I don't care either way ~ having a patent is useless if you're not willing to enforce it in court. The guitars I've built, and have planned are nearly exact copies of Telecasters, but I am not building them to sell, so I think I'm safe.
Allan Holdsworth is outa my league!
