What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Le Thiers Compact by Chambriard today, this one has Curly Birch scales, stainless bolsters and 13c26 Sandvik blade, quite keen she be too ;)

That's a great background (I think I've said so before) and that Schrade looks like it grew there it is so complimented by its surroundings- a great composition.

Thanks! It's a raised flowerbed outside the kitchen window — but the photo was taken a few weeks ago and the flowers (geraniums) are now gone for the season. I find the Schrade 5OT is a perfect size for all-but-invisible pocket carry.

The blade has a little side-to-side play when closed, but it locks up tight when opened. And in any case, it'll never get stressed strongly — I'm not looking do much more than ordinary light cutting with it. Also, when I take the dog for a walk, I end up using it to spear bits of trash along the road and take it home to throw out.
