What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I saw this guy tucked away in a consignment case at a local knife shop today, and couldn't bring myself to leave without it! It is an old Miller Bros. knife. If you know anything about the company/knife, I'd appreciate all you know! Here is a thread I started over in the BLK forum: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1124979-Miller-Bros-Curved-Jack

Well that is just a cool looking knife. Great find!

Wow, some real beauties posted on the last couple pages. I've been carrying an ebony GEC conductor for the last couple days as its becoming my go to small EDC.

Another nice looking Damascus peanut there, Jon Slider reminded me that I did have one, back in 2008, but only for a day or so, what a silly goober I was eh? should have kept it but didn't, forgot all about it, thanks for that reminder Jon!!! Right now I'm in the window shopping mode, no coin jingling so it'll be a while before I get a new toy.

In the mean time, thinking about the Peanuts, I remember, see I can remember ;), that a good friend Kodiak PA had gifted me this nice blue jigged bone Case Peanut and I am carrying this one today;

Looks kinda normal doesn't it, like a regular Peanut...but...

She's not your average Peanut, they nick named her Big Nut, it's the Case 6520 model, 4 blades and one scissors

I use some very fine sand paper to give the bolsters a nice satin hand rubbed finish, easy to maintain and hides scuffs better than leaving it at the mercy of coins

So my Peanut needs are met, for a little while, but I'll be on the lookout for one of those Damascus ones again and maybe I'll keep it this time...

Hanging with the "fat boy" today!

That certainly is a "fat boy!" I see that the pivot pin is visible on this one, meaning it is NOT made with the dreaded Swinden Key construction. Are all the 5OT's made this way (the proper way)?

Buck 500 Duke dressed in elk and a 103 skinner re-ground to a clip point :)
Wow, what a pair~! I'm really loving both of these, Duane. The 500 looks very classy, yet rugged. And the 103 looks great with your re-grind! I like it way better than the round-nosed skinner blade, which is limited in its all-around usefulness. :thumbup: :thumbup:
