What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That certainly is a "fat boy!" I see that the pivot pin is visible on this one, meaning it is NOT made with the dreaded Swinden Key construction. Are all the 5OT's made this way (the proper way)?

All the USA 51OT's I've seen have the pin showing...even the Taylor's do from what I can tell.

Wow, what a pair~! I'm really loving both of these, Duane. The 500 looks very classy, yet rugged. And the 103 looks great with your re-grind! I like it way better than the round-nosed skinner blade, which is limited in its all-around usefulness.

Thanks Alex! You are correct on the toughness of the Duke, I was amazed at how tough elk antler is when working those covers, you definitely don't need to baby stag handled knives;)

Thanks Jack! :)

Oh la la!!! Just gorgeous!!!

Thanks for all the compliments guys! It has been really fun looking the knife over and researching the company. Gevonovich, your pictures of all your great looking old knives really inspired me to pull the trigger on this one ;) thanks for the inspiration.

Had these two with me today... Bret Dowell 4" Serpentine Trapper and this old Winchester 3-1/4"
Junior Cattle knife...

Oh man, that old Winchester is nice! Wish I could stop at my local hardware store and pick one up. :)

One of the shiftiest lockbacks I've ever owned bladeplay wise. Something about the 72 that I love though.
