Outstanding Gev

is that beer or soup??

I'm afraid I can't say, it's a different part of Yorkshire! ;) :D

Thank you gents!

It was a very good ale to end the event on (it's really no dark ale by the way, not by a long chalk)....

....not that I'm done with the ales just yet mind :)

The blade on that old boy is very interesting Gev. Please, tell us some more about it?

Its a old A.W. Wadsworth that I found for a few bucks. It had a broken main but the other blades ( sheep and pen ) are ship shape. The main is a halfsy now but with great snap! Its a steel striker/screw driver/scraper. The venerable old piece deserved to be saved from its lost and loneliness.

Why thank you my brothers!! I'm certain both of you would do the same. I would quote a Dylan song, but I will spare you..lol

Mrs. Anderson is a retired lady who (as far as I know) always has an EDC on her. She says she sometimes wishes she had a shiny new SAK, but she prefers the early 20th cen knives handed down from her late uncle.

This is an old Imperial she had with her today. Despite the well sharpened blades and broken scales, it's fit and finish seem almost equal to any GEC knife made today. She prefers it despite its rust and dings, because her uncle used it for so many years: a connection to him that has transcended death.

Today was not the best day I've ever had but I carried this GEC boy's knife to help me through it. It is a nice companion.

Funny story, I've been carrying the medium Stockman on the right in my back pocket for a while but I it was a little too noticeable when I was sitting down. Decided to test the Peanut shape so I ordered a Rough Rider for (what I thought) was a song-- $5 including shipping! Unfortunately, I didn't read the fine print... it's a miniature Peanut!

Ordered a Case peanut anyway and it hasn't left my pocket since.

The RR mini peanut is a surprisingly capable cutter!
