That's a great-looking knife, Frank. Wish these were more widely available....Queen needs to bring this scale option back!

I love the older Pioneers! Think I'll pocket one of mine for tomorrow.

It's a recent acquisition. New old stock, a Queen pattern #31. I actually bought it for the other design features instead of the maple covers.

I wanted to try a two blade Congress, but wanted a sheepsfoot blade instead of a Wharncliffe. And I wanted neither carbon steel, nor 420HC.

GEC has a two-blade Congress, but the ones I have seen have Wharncliffe blades. Queen is not currently making a two-blade Congress in D2 in their current product lines. This is the only one that fit the bill. I was fortunate to find one on someone's back "shelf".

been giving this one a honest try and honestly its growing on me
and i like the option to open my knife WITHOUT taking off my gloves. working in a warehouse with no heat and all :p

For the past week or more it's been another huge favorite - my single spear 85 EO in African Blackwood and the Pemberton.

I love that knife Frank! Queen's birds' eye maple has become one of my favorites, I just like the way it looks. I think I'll carry my improved BEM Muskrat today.

Cheers,
Griff
