What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That is a very interesting mixture can you explain the taste it gives?
 
Nmcbride - it doesn't really taste much different than eating/drinking them separately. I like to let it sit for a couple of minutes so the peanuts soften up a bit. I like it because it's an easy snack to have while I'm on the road. I like to stop and get it when I leave work to get me through the rush hour traffic.

Standar22 - I'm actually from Maryland, but my grandfather was from South Carolina, and I seem to have picked up a lot of his habits.

Just now. Tis the season. Same knife as above. The wife never had chestnuts, until today. My family ate them all the time, until the Blight wiped out the American Chestnut maybe 30 years ago. These hybrids don't hold a candle to the American Chestnut. Probably gone forever, like many things.
