What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

well, seeing as the vast majority of the advice as to which knife i am going to complete a 5 month edc pledge is the texas jack..aka "my precious"
i will be carrying this today (its after midnight so its today :P)

I will be driving 3 hours to visit my sister and bring her some presents family mailed to me (i think they think we live closer than 3 hours but oh well) so i wont be around much tomorrow until evening.

So my sunday carry will be

backed up with this of course

Since i always take a sak with me when i do anything away from home, ya know, just in case
oh and there will be a green alox classic on the key ring, since it lives there :D

Good choices!!!! And don't feel bad if that ALOX sneaks into your pocket now and then! :D

Whatever else I carry, whatever I do...their is always a big ALOX SAK of some flavor with me. I feel naked without it.

now and then?
the sad fact is, the wenger SI IS my knife, i just want something to grow old with me....and this combination might just be the one to do that. one for beater/utility and one for pretty :P

This Tuna Valley brute will be on my side for sunday carry today...

... the pic doesn´t do justice to its real size - it´s really big for a traditional knife

Doing Christmas with the kids today.....these will be on my person again.

Very nice Andi! How long is it closed?

Thanks for the kind words :) I have little problems in the american size - so in this case I gonna let pictures speak. When I got the knife I asked the crowd here who made this knife and took some pics in size comparison, here´s the link http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1071083-Who-made-this-knife-Tuna-Valley

But your setup is fine as well - I love that vintage Vic as well as the the Schrade with this great looking patina :)

Alox Farmer as I'm away

I really like this knife. I'm gradually ironing out the niggles, the 'S' clip hooks on the top of my pocket so it's out of the way. I'm planning to round the spine of the saw and lanyard eye next. Job done:)

 It's funny, the first thing I used to do on a working Vic Pioneer/Farmer was file off the the keyring nub. Don't work them hard anymore so I stick a lanyard on them..... ;)
