What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today should be filled with knifework to be done, so I'm carrying one of my favourite fixed blades instead of a folding knife.

Sort of a pukko with an Argentine touch in good old O1.

If I could post a wolf whistle, I would. That's a pretty thing.

Just got this in the mail from another forum member. About to be in my pocket though:thumbup:

Nice score! I love Ohta's knives. Today I'm carrying his semi-wharncliffe (model 1132?) which is somewhat similar to yours. Sorry, no pics. :o

Kissing Krane medium Brown mule.

Gary, I love that Erickson swayback. It's a pleasure to view.

Today I was in a Scagel mood, and totin' this Northwoods folder (My new Erickson Montana Teaser was not far from hand :)):

Poor pic of my Otha. Very nice knife. Very nice action and super sharp cutter!
I have been carrying it for a couple months now.

^ Ed, maybe you can help me with the name:p

Ok, I have to admit I have a knife by a maker that I don't even know how to pronounce his name:o Seen it for years, but have never heard it said.

Is it a long O sound like "Ota", or short O like "auta"....or is it outa like "out a" ?

Very nice! I have a Northwoods #11 Scagel coming from a fellow forum member. Love 'em!

I'm not Ed :) but I pronounce it like a long O, Oh-ta.

But I could be wrong. It's been known to happen. :D

Thats Good, I have been saying it correct then. But had no idea if I was correct.

Nah, I'm sure your right...but if you are wrong I guess he will let me know when I call him that at Blade:p

The new camera is quite nice...
must work on my photo taking abilities!

This little guy has been with me for about a week...
He'll probably be with me for a while, I really like this pattern...

Just got a new Case Copperlock in chestnut bone in the mail yesterday, so that's been in my pocket all weekend. First knife I've had in this pattern, but I am really starting to like it.

Postman just arrived, I'm having a day off and so I'm taking the Queen Cutlery No.2 Serp Jack out for a ride. Been waiting ages for this knife, I like the nail nicks being on the same side.
