What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

SchradeKious.jpg

That is a great looking knife (... adds another to the list of things to hunt down).

I've got a Case 6207 wharnie in my pocket today, along with a STR Ti prybar. (I've also got a Kershaw Skyline... but who is counting, eh?)

Been carrying this Boker stockman for a couple weeks. I whittled this little spoon from a piece of 80 year old Chestnut barn wood while sitting on the deck at the lake. I keep salt in a shot glass so this will be my salt spoon.

yobbos, is that black SB reprofiled?

Yes, but not by me. I sent it back to Case to have the side-to-side play fixed and when they resharpened it they REALLY resharpened it. It annoyed me at first but I kind of like the result now. I'll try to get a better pic up tonight.

Fantastic scales:thumbup: Thought they might be mammoth:D

Today, Böker Large Stockman, it SLICES!

Good job on the spoon. The Boker has interesting scales, I like it

A custom hunter by D. Attwell (convex 52100 blade, stag handle with ivory buttcap) and my beloved Case Trapper (amber bone and CV!). That trapper has aged beautifuly.

I just picked up this guy on de'Bay last week. Excellent little jack knife from the '70's.

These two today, and I think this is a pretty permanent combination, at least until I get the Queen canoe in the next several weeks.

EDIT: You can see that I'm still in the process of taking the edge on the Queen down some more. It's sharp, but I'm aiming for around five degrees with the main blade... not there yet, though.

Got a Case swayback jack in chestnut bone a few weeks ago and have been carrying it since.
