That is unusually beautiful wood.

Was carrying a case med. stockman (bone and cv) but finally got a yellow cv peanut last year and love it.

For a fixed blade I have been using a paragon / asheville lee/ herron semi skinner. Great micarta handle, tapered tang, under 100 bucks. my favorite traditional fixed blade for the moment.

That's it. Can't take it any more. Every day I go through page after page of this thread and see these great photos of all these great knives. I keep telling myself. "Just lookin, don't need another one." Then I slide the little arrow to, page 1863,1864,1865........ GEC 66 jacks, case cv peanuts, esquire, pony jack, Northfield, Texas jack, trapper....... Ya I like this one, like to have one of them, that one would be a great EDC. I'll sell this or that and order another. Lets see KSF web site do they have any of THE ONE I now want. NOOOOOooooo! Check another site, nothin, another, another. You guys are killin me. Back on BF the next day, next page. THanks for all the great photos. Some day I'll try to post a pic of my favorite. When I find it.
