What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Traded for this 66 and it came in the mail yesterday. I believe I am the third forum member to own this knife. I believe it will be with me for a long time.

Popular, actually, from what I understand. Same thing as the Alox Excelsiors, just red w/cross. I love this series of patterns - Secretary, Pocket Pal, Popular, Excelsior, Buddy, Sentry - so light and thin, but so useful.

LOL...yes. I missed the keyring nub...it's a Popular alright! I remember there were some red Excelsiors at one point.

Great knives. :thumbup::thumbup:

Still MIA Ryan :( Looked everywhere I could think of, can't remember the last place I saw it...
Jon, sorry for the red flag, the MOP on your knife sure has a ton of fire in it :) :thumbup: Beautiful oldie that one is !

So hoping to see your Ebony Toothpick/Powderhorn again soon. Thanks for your kind words. So hard to catch the fire in Mop. This Schmachtenberg is my most colorful piece

it has what I call crossed belaying pins, (usually with more sweaters than tailers)

no worries on the red flag, iirc Camillus used a crossed sword mark, so it cant be all bad.. , and, Im happily reprogrammed:

No red flags for me. The Gillie Callum (highland sword dance - two swords are crossed and placed on the floor then someone dances between the blades) usually precedes a good party :)

Love it, thanks! Whens the party :-)

Each one of them is a heck of a knife - but together - they are such a great combination

GEC #66 Serpentine Jack and Vic Pioneer :)

... maybe this THE combo for me...
