What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Heading over to ABS Master Smith Jon Christensen's for dinner and stay the night so we can have a long day of forging feather bamboo damascus. Carrying these two and a pic of the damascus we will be forging.

Looking forward to see what you come up with, Kris!! Man I wish I could be a fly on the wall

Are the red alox standard models? Or special runs? I don't see a whole lot of them on this thread. Might be my next SAK purchase.

Unless you buy older editions, the only new red Pioneers I know of come from Victorinox Canada via Swiss Bianco.

Thanks buddy and yeah, that IXL lockback is gorgeous!!!!!

I had a store display of those IXL's back in '83...I stupidly sold it......cheap.

Thanks pal  Ouch! :(

Andy, I got mine from the secondary market so I don't really know but I believe they were special runs.

Thanks Gev! We spent a few hours in the woods doing a little shed hunting today so I was able to sneak a couple cool pictures.

Got a new Tidioute #73 in Autumn Gold Bone today - this is one sweet piece, if I do say so myself (pic heavy here b/c I'm excited about this one!):

Disgusting. Disgustingly nice Kris.
