What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great pic Duane

Been carrying these two today :)

Thanks Jack :) Love the bone on that oldie

I agree that Duane's pic is wonderful of two very very nice knives.

Thanks Gev :) The Tarumundi has been carrying the load as far as cutting duties go, the EI Viper has been a worry stone mostly, and a fine one at that ;)

Duane - Remind me to send you done decent tea bags sometime!

Andi - I hope you are okay my friend?

hoppes - As if the view of those mountains wasn't beautiful enough. You have some wonderful new office buddies there.

LOL scruff! Ha! Just ping me with a recommendation and I may just be able to aquire it stateside :D I must say thank you again for the lovely Taramundi! I tightened up the action ever so slightly, and it has done most all of the cutting of things that need cut since arriving. What a great little addition it has been. I am guessing the wood may be African Blackwood? The steel behaves very much like a sandvick steel, responds very well to the butchers steel for light touchups too. I love it!

Andi...I hope the background in your pic didn't have anything to do with how your day went  ;)

Kris, That Coats is mesmerizing to gaze upon! Exquisite!

Around my neck right now. If you can't tell, it 's a Bark River Necker II in CPM-3V. I acid washed it and stonewashed it, then added some glow scales, my sheath too. I've beat the crap out of it and it keeps begging for more.

Great pictures, Jack. I can't pic a fav there. Hope you having a wonderful day, my friend!!!

Yeah Jack - what a great setup for today, my friend.

It was a long and hard day, but I got compensated when I arrived home and Max was there, almost laughing. Just a great feeling :D

Thanks Jack :) Love the bone on that oldie

Thanks a lot guys. That old Alfred Blackwell is one of my favourites, think I paid around $3 for it :)

Have a great time with Max Andi

Actually saw the light of day today, went to town with the wife to see a moving picture show ;) so I carried this Le Compact along for the journey...

Thanks. It's a Schatt & Morgan Heritage Jack in ebony. It's 3 3/4" closed and has a nice easy 4 or 5 pull. Fit and finish on mine are very nice, but as I understand it, that's not always the case with this pattern. It's a current production offering from Queen/Schatt & Morgan and can be purchased from any number of vendors. Mine has developed a very nice and even patina. I love the spear blade and long pull. Overall, it has the look and feel of an 'older' knife. That old school charm is what drew me to it, and what continues to make it a favorite of mine. Thanks again.

Those Hawks rule. Wish my office had a view like that with visitors like them, I might even like going to work:D:eek::D

Today, just a CASE yellow Pen, understatement has its own satisfaction.

Regards, Will
