What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Another bad RA day...just this easy to open old fellow today (just did a new patina pic).

I used to think the old timers were the ugliest knife ever. Then I thought they were ugly, but the great steel makes up for it. Now I just love them. yours is great.

I got this in the mail a couple days ago. Its condition is not as good as it was described in the listing, and I was thinking about sending it back, but I really like the old bone, and I think Its gonna ride in my pocket after all.

Thanks buddy! That's a fine looking old hawkbill you have! I really like that pattern and the bone on that one is nice!!! :thumbup:

Today is my Cattaraugus 22772. I know Cattaraugus ran from 1890 to 1963 (or was it '65). I've read both and I wish I knew which year they stopped making these. I was born in '65 so that would be nice in a weird way.

Love this part of the forum. It's why I just ordered my first Tidioute. Can't wait to post that up when it gets here.

:D I was just back over here to post that my RA was better and I'm adding an ALOX to my 194OT! Great minds...! :thumbup:
