What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Always great knives Gev, I always like the little do dads/trinkets you add to the picture as well. You definitely have creativity my friend:D Art class was my all time favorite class and I'm thinkin it could've been yours as well:p

Thank you, my friend! I really appreciate your kindness! My elective was shop...lol. Woodworking and metal work/casting. Art is certainly a passion of mine as well. I definitely have a VKA representational synesthesia

This knife belonged to my grandfather. I would appreciate any info anyone has. The main blade is stamped "parker surgical steel." The other side is stamped "k-249 made in japan."

I understand it was an economical knife, which i think is cool. It was one of his users, something that helped him through his day.

Anyway, i'm mostly interested in if the handle is real bone, and the time period of manufacture. I would never sell it, too sentimental. Just curious.
 
Ahhh yes Gev, shop was a class I never skipped either:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: I think the two share alot in common...creativity and the like:cool: it was a definate plus that in Art class I got to sit right between the McGee twins;)
