What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Well, it lasted till lunch when this arrived.
The Cadet has lost out for a while and time will tell, but I believe the #66 has lost it's place as "default" EDC.

With the weather finally breaking here I decided to take a walk and get some exercise. We are fortunate to have a really cool park nearby.

The background

The knife was on the right hand side bottom corner for the pic. I was standing in the stream bed that consists of giant slabs of shale.

The area I lived in is called Shaler because, you guessed it, lots of shale in the ground.
Shale often contains fossils.

The spine of the Svord made a great impromtu rock breaker. The shale comes apart in layers with just a few light taps. This one isn't great but you get the idea. This stuff is everywhere in the park.

Got my ebony Electrician in right before work. Cut a couple kiwis at work and the patina is starting to develop nicely. I love this guy. Came super sharp and f&f is perfect. Haven't used the saw (I'm not an electrician) but hey, it could be useful in the future.

The filter makes it look more patina'd but it's close :)

I mainly got it for the sheepsfoot (my favorite blade style) and that the tip of the saw could be used as a screwdriver and pry things. I have a few more coming in, but so far I am loving this. This could take over my primary edc.

adoboyo,

Great looking 15 there! I love wood scales more and more myself. And the 15 pattern has gained my appreciation to the point I now have three of them... A Barlow, a Boys Knife in single spear and a Radio Jack. All are fantastic and I've been very impressed with them.

Low light end of the day photo (post wine as well), but here is my Arizonaranchman carry for the last couple days.
