I am toting my Queen Canoe in Birdseye Maple and D2.
I got that Menefee dog leg,I posted aways back, in my pocket. But I am tempted today to "switch out" & carry this "newbie for me"

Vince, that Tomes is gorgeous. What is that model called, if you know.
After busting my butt around the yard and in the house the past few days, I'm taking it easy. My Case Small Amber Bone Texas Jack is keeping me company.

A big improvent to that knife, with its rounded spine,is if it met the spring perfect match, squared & then were rounded, the way Tony does it.
Lots of beautiful knives in this thread today. The KH, Dowell and Tomes are all sweeeet!
I second that! The stag on the Tomes reminds me of pecan nuts. Tasty! The KH looks bark like. Very nice! Oh, and the Dowell looks so symmetrical and the fit looks flawless. BTW, what is the closed length on that Dowell?
You always come out with good descriptions, 'mano. Milky Way, Snickers Bars, Beef Jerky...
I always wondered what this Tomes reminded me of...(the actual color is somewhat lighter than these images by Don Hanson suggest).
