Very nice - the knife and the photo!

I appreciate your comment very much, Stephen!! Thank you.

Thank you very much, Jeff! Greatly appreciated. The Boker is a dandy, Sir!

Beauty, Gev! Both the photo and the knife.

I've been using this little scalpal today, courtesy of willgoy.

SAK, I hope you get well my friend!! You body needs its supplements to help itself heal. I recommend a full spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement. I am serious about this!

Edge testing after a little touch up work. Maybe I did a little more than was needed but there are 5 blades there. Am I supposed to just leave paper unsliced? ;)

Recently there's been an avalanche of fine knives on this thread, great just to come here! Today, it will be this in Walnut, small locking Laguiole

Case XX USA, circa 1970, model 6308 red bone whittler. I really like the small frame of this whittler. Stephen posted a photo of his great old 6308 a few days ago and that inspired me to try and get a decent photo of one of mine. This is not meant to be a comparison to his fine old knife.:)

I had a concept in mind of an indoor photo with some antique bottles as the background. Most of my photos are taken outdoors. It was rainy here yesterday and not much to do, so I gave it try. I used a tripod, cable release, and natural light from a north side window. I was surprised at how hard it was to control that indoor glare. I guess it turned out decent, but, actually wasted a lot of time to get a result I was not expecting. Maybe a lesson in what not to try. :D I guess I will have to get it outdoors one day and try for another.:)
