What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Beautiful ebony Scout. Can't get mine outta my pocket either! They really hit it out of the park with those EZ open #15
Have the day off so I'll be lazy today opening, closing and looking at these two beauties I received in the mail last night!

I can honestly say that the EZ Open Sheepsfoot #15 is right there as my end all, be all EDC for quite some time. Such an amazing knife and I absolutely love the ebony on this one. I'm not sure if you guys can see it, but the lighter brown around the bolster is beautiful. It transitions depending on the light. It's remarkable. Originally, I was put off by the "Scout" on the shield, but it's actually pleasing in person. I like to think it's there as a memoir to those guys that were scouts during military campaigns. It didn't come sharp enough to easily slice paper, but with new stones coming in hopefully by this weekend, it won't get a sharpened until they arrive. So I'll be carrying a not-so-sharp knife until then, but I believe it's worth the wait :p

My Eureka Jack came incredibly sharp though and it's an awesome knife, but that #15 has me in awe.

Jon, Thank You, and that is a magnificent pic of the pacific with such a lovely knife in the foreground ;) :)
That one has some of the sweetest stag I have laid eyes on in a dogs age!

Love the Boker Tree Brand Logo on the bolster and she has a sweet sheepsfoot blade on her too!! The coin is neat too - what year is it?:)
Thanks Primble :) That would be a 1927 standing liberty quarter dollar bullion coin, graciously gifted to me by Jon_slider, a most generous fellow amongst our elite group here. Come to think of it, I think I owe somebody a coin...

That, good sir, is an iconic and beautiful photo of an epic knife!:thumbup:
