I have a weakness for that beautiful old Case red bone, and that one's just a spectacular example. The dark patina on the blades really sets it off too. Gorgeous! :thumbup:

Today, I'm totin' the same traditional I've carried almost everyday for the past three years: a GEC serpentine jack in snakewood.

Nice photo and I like the snakewood on that one.

Hard to beat the Charlows for beauty. Nice BG here too.

That's a pic from the day that I got it. The tang is black now, and from the belly to the point, there are streaky black/purple areas. I need to take a recent pic. O-1 doesn't seem to color as much as 1095.

This one is perfect. Not a flaw anywhere, and the blade is centered perfectly. It has some patina now, and the tang is black, but the O-1 doesn't seem to take on color as fast as 1095.

I have some knives that only get carried when the weather is rough or the jobs are tough. The two you posted there are mighty capable. Looking forward to seeing more of that new GEC 92 of yours when the weather clears.
