What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Breaking this one in starting today as I attempt the natural patina process on the hi-carbon steel blades and light pocket rubbing on the jigged bone scales with my grubby little fingers.. :D

Knarfeng - how are you getting on with that GEC toothpick?

Thinking of getting a 5" one, but that one keeps popping up the radar

Looks good :)

Is good.

I like it for the way the handle snuggles into my hand. Perfect shape for me. (admittedly, I gots small hands.)

I also like the blade, a bit more robust than other toothpicks I have had.

Yea, It's a keeper. It brought me back to the traditional knife. I wrote it off a year or two ago...... I don't remember why now. The reamer is handy.

I've been carrying this Bear & Son Red Stag Handled, Carbon Bladed, Barlow for the last few days. Just the right size to hide in the corner of my pocket and the carbon steel blades sharpened up nicely.

That's a beauty Elliott! I'm on Jerry's list somewhere .... that one makes me wish he had a few more hands. ;)

Thanks, Gary. I'll make sure to remind him over beers on Thursday. ;) :D

Thanks Jim! Will do. :)

And incidentally I am carrying both my old Case XX #64047P in Green bone and this 5 dot Red bone of the same pattern today.. I often wonder why Case would discontinue fine old patterns like these tried and true pocket knives?!

Nice example of Bonestag there too.

Today, yesterday and Friday, a Böker Stockman in Grand Canyon that Jason very kindly obtained for me. Large Stockman is such a grand knife for the garden, Böker most underrated in my view.
