I'ts ebony. As black as it gets. I forget who I got it from. I think it was Eric. I'm starting to trend toward ebony scales. It's just so rich looking.

Attended a cook out today. I carried along my Opi #8 for food duty, my SAK huntsman for beer bottle duty, and my Case med stockman CV in amber bone cause it feels so good in my pocket.

This Camillus Rough Cut is in my pocket this evening. I think they were made from pieces/parts when Camillus was on its last legs. The spey blade is almost a spear. But I like it.

Today I'm toting the Buck 303 stockman in this pic ...

Not bad for the $6 or whatever it was I paid for it on a popular online auction site. After receiving it, I immediately sent it off to Buck HQ with a check for $6.95 for sharpening and a little TLC. I wouldn't say it came back like new - but it's darn close. I really like the non-traditional blade layout on the Buck 300-series stockman knives.

Outstanding!

Someone must have done a rain dance in central Texas yesterday as we got some nice needed rain in the evening that also cooled us down 20 degrees. Hmmm, maybe it was due to a person dancing in neighboring Oklahoma? :)

You know Elliot I don't ever see you posting saying that you are carrying the Ruple. Thus I am forced to believe that you just don't like it that much. I'll make you a deal. I'll take it off your hands and give you something you could use. Say...a bag of peanuts?;)

But really, I love that Ruple and seeing it. Great knife.

A S&M Reverse Peanut in Stag

Man you like them expensive peanuts...i was thinking circus peanuts...and I think it is jackknife who would take all those for a nice custom lol

That Furtaker Trapper is awesome!

I didn't have a traditional in my pocket today. It was a Benchmade 812S today. I couldn't find what I did with the F-R canoe until the day was over.

Here's what it looks like (the canoe):
