What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Aside from all you fine folks here on the porch, I don't know any "knife people." Sure I have friends that carry knives, but none that really get how much fun it can be to hunt for, research, and just plain fondle knives. I am sure that I bore my friends with my ramblings, and I try to keep it to a minimum, but all the talk must be having an impact. Today I stopped into my best friends place to check on her cat while she is off camping in eastern Oregon, and much to my surprise sitting on top of the note she left for me was this Camillus 77 Midget Stockman! Not only did she thank me with a knife, but she did it with a good old fashion slippie!

needless to say I sharpened it up and dropped it into my pocket to keep my Charlow company.

I thought this one deserved another look. The colors really pop, and the contrast is perfect to my eyes. Two exceptional knives as well!
Bob

Thanks, Bob! A little fiddling in Light Room goes a long way ;)

As for the knives, all credit is due to the fine folks at GEC and Victorinox.

I have never had anything with micarta handles, so I know nothing about the material. I agree though, the little light sure looks swell with the texture in the knife handles and looks like matching copper beads in the lanyard. I like the blade and even like the embellishment. Overall, the look is great!;) One minor nit though, you forgot to run a rag over the BG wood. :D

And she has good taste! Those Camillus are cool knives. Congrats and the Cat should get some extra crunchies...lol

Have these two in my pocket this afternoon. My new case swayback jack arrived in the mail around lunch.
I could not be more pleased!!

I noticed this pair earlier and almost forgot to come back to it - lots of knives posted today. ;) Both of these are outstanding knives!:)

Primble, I noticed after I posted the picture. It isn't food though, we just got these Bamboo like place mats and the crumb like particles are from those:D

Thank you for the knife/bead/light compliment:thumbup:

Thank you. They are my first two traditional knives. I could not be happier with them.
