What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Very nice knife and the picture, complete with vicious looking insect, deserves an encore.:D

He has superb taste! A beauty indeed.

Thanks so much; he's only four, but he asks to hold it all the time when we are out working in the yard. I have a small leather belt sheath for it--he loves to wear it and walk around like he's getting work done.

Excellent tip-bolsters on that one, then there's the bone....Very fine knife, congratulations!

Regards, Will

Thanks for all the comments and my apologies for the slow reply, but I've been away since posting the photo earlier. It's a 1878-1932 era New York Knife Co. (Hammer Brand) split backspring Whittler. It's 3 3/8" closed and is stamped Hammer Brand on the main and the two smaller blades are stamped New York Knife Co Walden. I'm really quite fond of it and appreciate everyone's compliments! :)

That's nice deskil, really like the bone. I remember when those where available and I always wanted to try one---What do you think of it?

This now that the workday is done---I see a "Summer Shandy" and a cigar in this evenings plans:thumbup:
