What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Spent a few hours on the trout stream today. Didn't catch a darn thing but that's ok. It's a gorgeous day to be out.

An excellent knife with an equally excellent litespeed and what looks to be a Winston. I fish a couple very similar
 
They used to, they were discontinued ( I think) this year...you can still find them on the open/ secondary market, get one while you can ;)

I put my enaki in a good pond i found last night..15 good eels in it this morning...i got 6 more this avo...These will be delicious after a cold smoke tomorrow....#23 and my filleter did the sharp stuff...............Fes

... going on the wedding of my "sister-in-law" today so I´ll be wearing traditional clothes and a Jagdnicker is a must have on such a day!

I´m almost enjoying the ceremony and the feast after :D
 
Does the taste ever go away once the blade is patina'd?

I fear this blade will not get patina'd the way other blades do - it´s made of 440C steel so it will be hard if not impossible to get patina on it. But if it could, it would look great.

Great looking eels, FES they look actually pretty delicious. Have never ate smoked eels but smoked trout is delicious ... :)
