  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I usually prefer a secondary with a straight edge, but this jack keeps jumping into my pocket. It's got a lot more patina now than when it was new:

It's ok, it's only one "l" in my real life name

That is some amazing burl on that Bark River. I like the composite, too, of course... but I am biased. What is that brass thing on your keyring? Flashlight?

Thanks! That elder burl has some of the nicest coloring I've seen on a dye job. There's so many colors and yet they all blend just right. It was an impulse buy and I've ended up loving the knife. The composite is out of this world, quite a unique combo and impossible to do the copper justice with my iPhone photography.

It is a flashlight, a copper 3 mode BetaQR from Prometheus Lights.

Thanks to all for the comments on yesterday's carry. Still blown away by the circumstances surrounding its transfer into my custody. Can't ever thank you enough, ~P.

Lovely Tina! Which model number is it?

Sam

It's a model 600 .
It is a slightly bigger knife than the 605 , the main difference is the depth of the blade .
It's a very nice basic knife that get used for hard rough work around the place . it gets used for the stuff that the show ponies are scared to do . It's slowly growing on me , but it hasn't replaced the 605 as my favourite just yet .
