A smidge...mostly nordic (family migrated to Aus after WWII, I was first gen born there), that knotwork is viking based with the dragon motif. Celts liked to use geometric shapes over form with their knotting.

At my new job today I snapped this eating lunch, been there a week so far and its pretty awesome! :)

I picked one of these up used a week ago or so. Errr, it's sort of my favorite knife ATM. Light, solid, decently large, comfortable, and I love the lanyard loop. Such a winner.
 


This was picked up this morning at the post office. Gene Wiseman was kind enough to make a dream knife of mine. Completely over the moon.
 
Nice one! Enjoy :) Oh, and if yours has the "E" on the back of the blade tang that stands for the date 2014... F will be the next year. I was a bit confused what that stood for and had to ask Gene... Nice guy for sure! I'll def be getting on his books again
