I am assuming this SBJ is a chestnut, since the blades are CV. The scales on it are quite beautiful, much darker and richer than the usual chestnut. Did you find it that way or help it along a bit? Nice BG and photo as well.

Got my old Cattaraugus Cocobola handled Jack in my watch pocket today:

It is 3 & 1/4 inches closed.

Wow, those blades have seen the sharpening stone quite a bit I would venture! It's all the more beautiful for the use, though. Wonderful patina, too :thumbup:

There's a deep Maroon and Black shimmer that can be seen in the sun light.
