Bad to the Bone !

Have my #55 in my pocket this evening and admiring the 1910 Liberty Head Nickel that arrived in the mail from Arizonaranchman today.
Jeff has become a great friend in my short time on the forum and acts as my traditional knife mentor. I can't say enough about how much
I enjoy my time on this forum and that is directly related to all the great members.

Found it! this was sent to me by Humppa aka Andi all the way from Germany (the knife, not the cat lol)...was boxed from the move to Idaho up but lucked out and found it. :)

I love how clean and simple French pocket knives are, this one is a true stunner, xceptnl. Could you post some more about it please?

Certainly. It was a gift from a friend half a world away and it inspired me to start collecting slipjoints again for the first time in 18 years.

French made by Au Sabot
12C27 Sandvik steel

Le Garonnais (named for the river in France where the knife style originalted)
Aromatic Juniper-wood handles give the knife a very unique experience both visually and olfactory. The blade is fairly inexpensive and has a strong spring (I would say 8-9) though it may feel like less because you can pinch it above the nick. The blade has no half-stop, so that is the only part you must be cautious about. The knife is about 4-1/8" closed.

Hi Robert, I´m glad you found the Muskrat again and you still like it - as well as the cat ;)

Today I gonna have my grail knife with me ... Queen DB Barlow

A beautiful gift, it's by far one of the nicest French made folders I have seen, suits my design preferences perfectly. Thanks for the extra information!

It's nice to know that when I check this thread each morning you fellas on the other side of the pond will have posted some nice eye candy..........Thanks!
Here's mine for today.

Love those JH Lloyd's. They are just so clean and simple.

This #15 has been hogging most of the pocket time for the past few months and I see no reason to stop that trend now.
