Love the color and jigging on this Northfield. Now I am torn on my next 48. I toted my Robeson today.

My Böker Whittler is with me today ... almost developing patina ... and a great carry! Thanks again Will :)

Most welcome Andi! Congratulations on Germany lifting the World Cup for a fourth time! Magic.

So I'll carry a German knife too, time to root out a Böker of some kind.

Regards, Will

So here's a Small Stockman in smooth bone/carbon.

Super knife! Real winner in my book, regret to say I have no stainless 25, that's a wonderful example.

Le Garonnais knives mentioned earlier, they are very big tough macho types! The spring on my Ebony one could chop a finger no worries :eek: Well, the French did invent the guillotine after all:D

Thanks, Will

Some really beautiful knives fellers  I had a great weekend out in the hills with my Bullnose, Vic Mauser, and RJ for good measure, but in spite of our unusually good weather, I've somehow managed to pick up a cold :(

Jack Black - need more info on that old knife in the foreground - I'll bet the RJ is feeling lonely today. :)

That old Boker is a real favourite of mine Primble, not least because it was a gift from the ever generous Mr Paul Hilborn :)

After getting a bit giddy and gifting away my juniper handled 'Le Camembert' to the groom yesterday, I have my back up J Howarth penknife, a gift to me this time, from my good friend Jack.

A real little gem of a knife.
Thanks to you again Mr B.

You're more than welcome my friend. That was extremely generous of you, I know how much you liked 'Le Camembert', I'm glad you had something in reserve

With me today:

Thanks Will. Much appreciated! The Böker became a fave very quickly. The mainblade sits bombproof and the springs on the smaller blades are like a bear trap. The steel is wonderful as well. Love that!!

Thanks! Was quite surprised when it came up on the bay a couple of weeks ago. The price was a tad more than what I'm used to but I just HAD to get it so I bit the bullet. Now that I have it in hand, I'll say it's worth every cent I paid!

Another specimen appeared on the exchange a couple of days ago with an even higher asking price - that was snapped up almost immediately. That made me feel pretty justified :)
