What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Cleaned up this old Camco 771 Stockman with Delrin scales this afternoon. Sanded down the kick on the main blade so it would sit down between the liners, sharpened the blades on the KO Work Sharp, and it's ready to go with me to work tomorrow.

The interesting thing about this knife is that it has only one brass pin on each side. Other 771s I have seen have the traditional 3 per side.

Someone said this single blade Rust Red Micarta #56EO Weaver Jack was looking lonely and miserable in my display case. So it's with me today. Just for you xceptnl!

Great looking knife I have been interested in that one for awhile:thumbup:

Well, I finally took the plunge. Several months ago I had an idea to sharpen part of the edge on my Radio knife's caplifter to create a multi-tool, with essentially a coping blade along with the clip and caplifter/driver. It is not professional quality (it was WAY harder to do than I thought!), but it works well. My mod in no way effects the use of the caplifter or flathead driver, but still gives me a precision edge for scribing and draw cutting with the tip. Criticism and suggestions gladly accepted. In pocket, today.

Very cool mod! Looks very useful. I've always wondered if you could turn it into a can opener as well.

I love seeing old knives get a refurbishment and get put back to work .
I have purchased a couple of old knives over the last few months and they actually take pride of place in my meagre collection of users.
All my knives are used and used hard, but the old ones just have a soul to them that a new shiny knife hasn't yet earned .
I'm sure that knife is the same .
