What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Simple, the same one that I've been toten for the last year 1/2.

Boker smooth red bone trapper. It has seen a ton of use and is still as tight as new:thumbup:

 I guess I haven't been paying attention lately...

What the heck is that and where did it come from ???? I see a Case tang stamp, but that don't look like no production knife. :D

I LIKE IT... A LOT

That's the new Case/Tony Bose collaboration for 2010.

Thanks Christian.
Looks like they really nailed it with that one. Nice bone, nice bolsters, and I really like the blade shape.
Did I mention, I REALLY like that knife :D

Mike, it's detention for you. Looks like you fell asleep in homeroom and missed your classes!

:p

Glad you like it. It's a good one.:cool:

The detention is much deserved :D.

I've been being really good about not buying anything for awhile, even sold off a few, but I think this one will be the one that breaks my being good streak.

IIRC the 154CM is equivalent to ats-34 ?

today carrying my custom buck 112--fileworked with white micarta scales and my cozey glen canoe--:D

Yep, it's a U.S. manufactured equivalent. Almost identical properties.

I just finished touching the blades up on this new (to me) Case Barlow and as soon as I finish my coffee and get my pants on, I'll be slipping it into my pocket to carry the rest of the week and through the weekend.

Cool..... That seals the deal then :D I do like the ats-34.

I gotta get one ordered. Not sure how long it will be until they are back in stock though. But thats o.k, it will give me something to really look forward to

I don't often get enthused about new production knives, but this one gets me almost as excited as seeing pics of your red bone Ruple stockman :D

You're gonna like it, Mike, and if you're gonna break your fast, that "Tribal Spear" (Zulu) is a good one to do it with.

...Oh, and you're referring to this old thing?

Yeah, I guess it's okay. :p

Cuttin' grass and putterin' in the yard so it's a '78 Case Camper/Scout pattern with jigged Delrin scales.

Just got back from a week at Disney World. They took my Spyderco from me 2 years ago so I only took a Victorinox Classic and a Vic Recruit with me this time. Only used the Recruit once to cut some Pizza in the hotel room. Used the Classic almost every day.

Hey Blues,

Is that knife considered a sowbelly? Sure is pretty.

Hi David,

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the image is of a sowbelly stockman. The first image I posted (above that one) was a premium stockman with rounded bolsters as opposed to the squared bolsters that are offered as an alternative, such as on this 3.5" closed Ruple:

Picked this one up a few days ago and today it's getting its first carry. Boker Tree Brand with acrylic tortise scales and carbon blades.

Love that Boker!

For the past few days, I've had my purple bone/carbon GEC toothpick, but today I've switched again..... back to...... the 09 Forum Barlow. I canNOT seem to keep this little guy out of my pocket!!!

Today its a very pocket worn and well used Case XX 6208. Used to be Grandpas every day knife.
