What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

No danger of any BBQs breaking out here today, it's been raining since last night. A shame as I think I'd be well-equipped for one! :D
Indeed you will. :thumbup::D
Today is congress day.
Beautiful Boker and picture pmew. :thumbup::)

This old one today. Funny it fills heavier than other knives it's size. Like it almost carries the years with it.
Really nice old Case and nice picture! Heavy metal - yes! :thumbup::)

To celebrate the release of a new batch of Charlows and my desire ;) to add some of them to my collection, I shall tote this today:

Beautiful! Is that walnut? I swear I will own a Charlow someday. Today is not the day, though. :(

Thanks for the comments guys. The quote is from D. H. Lawrence a 20th century novelist. I picked up this old Case at a yardsale a few months ago for 15.00 bucks. It has some great warm colors to it when the sun hits it right

This one was just picked up this morning and is a great example. No gaps or wiggle just needs a little tender loving care....and a sharpening! Ha!

Primble - that's a great looking Charlow. Here's wishing you good luck on acquiring some new ones! :D Also, my apologies for essentially copying your post - from now on, I'll try to scan the board before posting. ;)

Jack - thanks for the compliment. Nice pairing of knives today. I love that bottom knife - I believe that you've posted before that it was a Carl Schlieper but I'm not sure that I've got that right. Great looking knife regardless. :thumbup: What's the closed length?

Gevonovich - candy indeed! Very nice collection of beautiful items. :)

jkulysses - thanks for the compliment! Yes, it's Che Chen Rosewood and is one of my favorites. The wood on this one practically glows in the sunlight. Thanks again. :)
