What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sunday project from a bag 'o knives I got from my dad about a year ago. Cleaned up and sharpened this old John Primble bullet end jack. I'm guessing it's some kind of amber jigged bone?

Beautiful ole John Primble sir!:thumbup:;)

The Charlow camouflaged by its native Pennsylvanian environment (my work carry, not a great picture):

Then I carried these later:

Jack - two fine choices again sir - I still have not seen the new teardrops in person. :o

I still have Charlows on my mind and in my pockets today:

:)

Old Alfred Blackwell today :)

I always thought those okapis were a traditional African peasant knife, but they were first made in Solingen about the time the okapi creature was discovered, and named after it because they were a new kind of knife. Even though they look like a southern European traditional. (At least to me.)

Sorry about the quoteless non-sequitur. I just got back and I forgot that the end of a page isn't necessarily the end of the thread.

Thanks for the kind words, Gev :)
Much appreciated!

Gev - the FB Will is showing is looking like the Böker Pocket Bowie to me, but I might be wrong as well.
