What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Carried this one today

Jack - very interesting old knife. I'm not familiar with Alfred Blackwell... guess I'll have to do some more research. :)

Andi, Primble, Philllll & Smithhammer - love the Charlows! Always a good choice and all four are fine examples.

Gevonovich - stunning bone on that OVB! It must be tough for you to decide which jewel to carry each day. ;)

John - I didn't think your photo from yesterday could get any better, but you proved me wrong. At least I've got something new to stare at today. Again, that's just an absolutely magnificent knife.

Gary & gmarthur - I love those ebony Case/Bose Norfolks. Gary - What's the handle material on the fixed blade?

ScottK - nice whittler!

pistonsandgears - your ebony teardrop is a real beauty! I'm not familiar with Crucible Knife Co., but am very impressed with that example.

Sorry for the long post, but there were just so many great carry choices today. I'm carrying an ebony Tidioute 92 today. Pedestrian by comparison to some of the knives posted today, but I really like the pattern and it carries very nicely.

^^^ Pistonsandgears ^^^ That's an old veteran if I've ever seen one... Very nice!

Thanks guys, it's a veteran for sure, and its a nice one to carry slim and light weight with the single spear. Still has nice walk and talk and has a good sharp convex edge.
I wasn't familiar with the brand either but Gevonovich came up with this information on it when I posted the knife in the "Old Knives" thread a while back.
Some info I dug up online:Goins 2nd Edition list this company as being in business from only 1926 - 1929, and were probably a victim of the stock market crash in 1929.
Others say until 32.

Stephen - I really like that 92 pattern, I still don't have one in that pattern but every time I see it I think I need one, that's a nice one you have there.

Thank you Stephen and I like that 92 pattern quite a bit myself.:)

Sweet ole knife sir! :thumbup::)

In the pocket today is my #15 Scout.
Nice one Linus and a nice picture as well!;)

When I find myself wishing for more new knives than I can afford, I look through my old knife box and pick out one I haven't carried in a while. Today in my pocket was this worry-stone of a knife.

That beauty seems to have absorbed several lifetimes worth of worries, r8shell. A very effective worry-stone, indeed!

Stpehen..those 92s just have the curves..don't they. Nothing like a Eureka. Matter of fact...I think tomorrow..tomorrow
