What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today's a day off work to do a few things before going camping with friends for the weekend.

Had some time to sit in the garden in the sun and read a little.

Lunch with assistance from the ever-present Owl :)

Diamond Edge Cattle knife today, and probably most of the weekend. I will take a better pick with my fixed carry on Sunday. Evel Knievel days in Butte, some of the nicest bikes a person will ever see, and LOTS of them. Uptown is crazy busy.

Put this Don Morrow single blade Trapper in my pocket this morning.

Thank you Gev, I am more than thrilled with this knife.

That is a gorgeous knife, Gary, don't think I have seen that beauty before.

First day with my new #78 American Jack in the pocket. Really loving this pleasantly stout little jack knife. The pen blade is wonderfully long such that it can handle a lot of tasks on its own and the clip blade is just great and snaps into place with authority, but without ripping through my nail...it's a perfect heavy but not too heavy pull.

I have always been opposed to knives over 3.5" but something about this one made me want to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Carrying it in a KSF pocket slip today which certainly helps with the bigger knives I think.

The lineup in the other thread still has me swooning, Gary.

Working on the Pennsylvania Railroad.

That's a great looking knife, good choice

If you have an #85, could you post side by side comparison please?

Totin' both of my 3rd Cut Stag Charlows today. I suppose I ordered more than my fair share of this run, but, remember I was late to the party and missed out on most of those beautiful long pull Charlows - ones that I have unsuccessfully tried to acquire. I really love both of these new arrivals.:D

Thanks, for some reason it was too dark when up loaded and I had to modify it...I always strive for untouched photos...anyway.

Maybe the glare from the crystal got you a bit Gevo. I love that Schrade Cut. Co. and that PW ain't so shabby neither!:D

Nice knives Primble! :DThe choice of handle materials on these Charlows are great. They would look good in some Mammoth Ivory too but it's not so cost effective.

Thanks! It feels great in hand too, definitely one you have to hold to fully appreciate.

Sorry, I don't have an #85 unfortunately. Maybe I need to pick one of those up one of these days. I have a #15 I could shoot it next to if that would help any.
