You got a very nice one S. ,a lot nicer than my first one. Great work on restoring it,Primble is doing what us traditionalists like,and you too .Thank you, Linus! Yes it is a spey or budding blade. The pattern is a Farmers Jack. This thread, started by Lyle ( The resident master ) shows off his collection of the pattern. Enjoy

Thank you Gary and those two knives you are totin' today are super - as usual! :thumbup:Nice Scout, Primble!
With me today;
Thank you very much sir :thumbup: I kind of missed the Scout, but it looks like a great pattern. I'm sure that when you call them in at the end of the day, the Charlows will come home looking well-grazed and happy![]()

Primble was right,I think that knife has hardly been used. Some of the Sheffield knives I have; have that almost brass look to the nickle silver.I think it could have something to do with the copper,nickle,zinc? mixture ??
You need to post it in the FJ thread,congratulations it's a beaute,and I would certainly be proud to own it.
Primble - That Scout looks terrific and I imagine it fits right in with the rest of your old knives and Charlows. The Waltham is a nice addition to the photo too.
I couldn't resist carrying my "Primble-Cat" today.

Primble
Great picture of one of my favorites (The Scout) and that lovely pocket timer! I can't quite make out your mug in the reflection
I know I've seen it before, but what's the story with that beauty?
That one is a GEC #15 that has been customized by Evan (Esnyx) with some nice burl and brass liners and pins. Nice looking setup you have there, I'm starting to get excited with bow season coming up!I know I've seen it before, but what's the story with that beauty?
2/3 of these are ready for fall
