What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My trio of ebony and blackwood Charlows are all with me today. Guess I still have the fever. ;)

One in my belt scabbard, one in my watch pocket, and one in the leather pouch I got from Barry.

Great trio and really nice photo!

Around the house with these today.

Totin' that fixed blade with all those "eyes" I see - very nice lineup there Gary!:)

Brought this one out for a brush up.

I still think I should have gone for a two blade model. :)

I am partial to the two bladed models, but, the singles are quite beautiful, as well. That model is one of my favorites and I hope we get to see another run using that handle, so I can add one to my collection.:thumbup::)

Great little knife! None better then Mr. Foster's.

Great stuff Gev, looking really good

Thanks, my friend! I hope all is well with you.

Linus
Thank you and I will shoot a few pictures in a bit. Just got home and check in.

Primble
Now that is a trio!

Looks like the woods around the house are lovely dark and deep. I hope the family is enjoying the new home!

I know the colors not for everyone but I love it. I just got this one for a 14 year anniversary present. It's been in my pocket all day. I think it has found a new home there.

Happy anniversary Caveman. That knife should always be special to you!

That is a fantastic looking EO Linus. We really have a similar taste in traditionals

Thanks! I was drawn to this initially because of the EO. Then when a dealer who's not a BF sponsor and thus will remain nameless offered it to me at a very special price, I couldn't resist any longer :D

Wow
That is a knife I would cherish .
What is it ?

Ken

Thanks Ken. It's a Queen Knives Joe Pardue Easy Opener in burnt stag. Not very popular as there are still plenty available on the auction site. I only got it because I was offered a very attractive discount. Was at first leery of Queen's F&F after reading so much about it here but I've no complains about my knife. No gaps anywhere, medium pull and good snap. The D2 blade came sharp enough to slice paper too.

I'm sure there lots of people here who would gladly help you take that off your hands :D
Of course I'd be at the head of whatever queue that forms!!!;)

Thank you Gevo and that old FJ you are working on has some nice full blades too!:)

Not much more to do...little flecks here and there. I will just take it slow and easy, live with it for while and let if tell me what it needs.

The big bonus...the blades are hard snapping and wobble free too!

Just bought the ceramic rod sharpener. 3 bucks at the hardware store. Man, that makes sharpening the hawk bill easy.

A Hawksbill main and is that a spey secondary? Can't quite tell from the small pic on my mobile. Beautiful!!! So full of character. I'm sure if that knife could talk, it'd have a few stories to tell!
Linus

Thank you, Linus! Yes it is a spey or budding blade. The pattern is a Farmers Jack. This thread, started by Lyle ( The resident master ) shows off his collection of the pattern. Enjoy
