What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm really narrowing it down to these two lately. I have quite a few nice knives, but the old timer and peanut just keep making their way back into my pocket. Does this happen to anyone else?

G - that's a sweet classic Boker. Rosewood handle? Coco?

And is that a small cicada?

Very cool pics, as usual.

I am not certain of the wood on the handle, maybe an expert can shed some light?

Yes, its an emergent cicada...that is its exoskeleton on the right. It emerged an hour ago.

The wild part gave me a good laugh.:D:D:D:D

Thank you, my friend!!

Yep... I'm the same anymore for the past few months. A Stockman and a Peanut - a perfect combo for me. :)

Thanks, folks! I didn't realize at the time what a prized rarity these would become, but I'm sure glad I grabbed one when I did. What a beautifully simple and functional pocketknife.

And since every time the topic comes up, I hope someone from GEC is listening - looking forward to the next run of #15 EO sheepsfootses!!
