Those custom grips are very elegant!

A thank you always to Duncan and Fausto for this wonderful HJ6 (which has been in my pocket everyday)

And a Buck 373 which has accompanied it as well.

Personally I'd rather it be a USA made but it has definitely satisfied my want for a stockman. USA made inbound.......

Well, I have been carrying my new farmer the last few days:

I switched to my Bradford Cutlery Single Shot today (which I decided to keep and tighten up a bit. It came back from gec for a spring lightening with a super slight, almost indiscernable, wobble):

But I got a surprise package today, and it turned out it to be from Jennifer (member Jone). It is an AMAZING little modified Opinel. It has a perfectly shaped sheepfoot blade and a very comfortable little handle, ending with a nice little lanyard with wooden beads. This little thing is awesome, thank you so much! Incidentally, I'm also carrying my MoonPie knife.

Thanks Paul, it's definitely unique. I didnt know what to think of it at first, but I kinda like it.

Hopefully you're lifting a cap or two with that nice crown lifter on such a beautiful day.

I'm loving this lighter toned ebony, so much character in it, visually it's more interesting than the classically desirable all black. I just got in a 78 from esnyx that has some beautiful ebony like this...spent last day or so working on lightening the spring tension and it's a nice comfortable 6 or 7 now so it'll be finding its way in my pocket very soon.

And if anyone is curious why we're seeing more streaked and lighter colored ebony now instead of the all black stuff, check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anCGvfsBoFY&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Some great info about what is going on in the forests where these beautiful trees are being harvested.

I would love to see some more pictures of that.

Anyway here is what I was carrying today.

Glad it arrived safely and hope you'll enjoy it as much as we are enjoying our MoonPie. :)
