That trapper is divine!

The Scout is one fine knife and that is a great background and picture #1

I tell you all these great knives and pictures make this a great time to be here!!. Its so hard not to comment on everyone's contribution. Just know I appreciate them all!! Thanks everyone!!

KBA,

Fantastic pic and layout on that shot - and I see Jennifer's handiwork there :)

Bearsquared - It's only 1/4" shorter in size but it's noticeable believe it or not. And the spine of the Spey on the 81 rides flush with the spine of the main Clip blade, which lends to a more sleek profile. So the 81 feels smaller but the main blades' cutting edges are the same. Now the blade THICKNESS on the large Case Stockman is noticeably thicker than the 81.

Another day with this pair...

Linus - great picture and beautiful stag on your 25!

exceptnl - gorgeous knife. I'm a big fan of the blue camel bone.

Fanglekai - very nice trapper.

Ken - your father's knife is a real treasure. Just terrific!

Will - Nice choice today. I don't know much about radios either, but I imagine those bottles are more fun to work on anyway. ;)

pmew - your 'old faithful' appears to be a knife worthy of that title.

Greg - your 6231 1/2 inspired me to carry an old red bone today as well. Thanks! :)

Peter - nice pair of classics you're carrying today.

Brett - beautiful patina on that Scout.

Smithhammer - beautiful photo of a beautiful knife.

Paul and r8shell - I'm a big fan of your nifebrite knives.

Markesharp - the SAK and Charlow pair nicely.

arizonaranchman - very nice photo!

Ed - your Fire & Ice trapper looks like a real workhorse. Nice patina too.

Aias - very creative photo!

NAB - great looking stockman.

I'm carrying a Case XX Barlow today. I hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start.

I had a few nice knives with me today, but I picked this Lanny's Clip up from Doc Hagen at the Montana Knifemakers Association knife show in Missoula, beautifully pinned desert ironwood with a hand ground clip blade of CPM 154. Always a pleasure to see Doc(at 80 years old it is awesome he and his wife make the trek to Montana for this show) and Bob Crowder, who had some great knives, but even Bob thought I should buy the Lanny's.

Cruddy pic, better tomorrow
