I like all things Ebony :D so this gets an outing today. I was very fortunate a few weeks ago to see an Eagle Owl (bubo bubo) taking off from an electric line at close quarters. It is a truly massive owl and Europe's biggest. A group has established itself near the centre of Helsinki, but the one I saw was well out in the wilds.

Nice work on your first knife, including the nice swedge, I like that pointy tip and the handle shape looks real friendly.
