I made this pocket slip for my Fathers knife a couple of days ago , but discovered that it also fits perfectly my favourite old Mosely pen knife .
Because I rarely carry my fathers knife due to its irreplaceable value to me , the Mosely was chosen to travel with me today.
Wonderful work on that Ken and wonderful knife as well! :thumbup:;)

That is just a gorgeous knife, Zach.
+1 Zach :thumbup::)

Carried a pair of Case jack-knives for the last ten days, the 6214 1/2 during the week and the 6225 1/2 over the weekend.
Great choices OH! :thumbup::)

My Texas Jack drank a lot of tea this weekend, but it's back to work now.
Looks great with the tea tint Rachel!!! :thumbup:;)

Ha! - you are not going to fool me twice with that vintage looking Boys Knife Gevo. It really does have an antique look though! Nice picture and nice knives. The Cicadas look like they are headed toward petrified! :eek::D

Smithhammer = beautiful pair today! :thumbup::)

Gevonovich and Smithhammer- beautiful knives and photos!

Sarah - two wonderful and unique carry choices.

I carried the Cattaraugus whittler yesterday and am carrying the SAK Soldier today.

That Cat is what I hope the road to heaven is paved with!! Just gorgeous!!

Yesterdays carry is still a favorite of mine and as for the 25s...that one sings but you have one in bone with a special deep jigging that I still think about.

I forget the name of the jigging

Nice looking knife Brian. Are you carrying that in your pocket in a pocket slip or bare bones along with keys, coins, etc.?

Got this one in the pocket today but I am excited to get home tonight because hopefully there is a new surprise of the knife kind waiting for me on the doorstep!

That would be Horsecut Antique bone, as seen on my 2008 #25 (other iterations of Horsecut jigging, on other patterns, can look similar but I haven't seen anything else quite like this).

The combination of the variegation in the bone coloring plus the non-template randomness not just of each cut but in the depth of the cuts really sets this one apart.

... One of the finest GEC knives of ever. :cool:

(This entry is predictive: I shall carry the Horsecut #25 tomorrow, but likely won't have time for a picture post. ;))

Very nicely done! I, too, have benefitted from advice here regarding a tea soak ameliorating the orange in some of Case's bone; I really like the looks of yours. :thumbup: How did the (CV?) blades fare?

Carrying this one in my change pocket thinking that the change will help rub off some of the dark staining.

Carrying this one in my keys pocket thinking the same thing.

Pretty good idea about tea soaking for those that are doing so - apparently, with good results.
