I'm on the left coast this week, headed out to Sonoma to do some wine tasting. Couldn't remember what knife I had left in my travel kit, and when I got to the hotel found this one, a Marbles medium stockman in bone stag. Decent little import.

Very tidy bone on that Marbles Jeff, looks a decent knife to take on your travels.
Lucky you! Wine tasting.....wonderful:thumbup: Just as autumn kicks in here in Scandiland, I'd love to go off to France for some wine-tasting!
Decided to carry an inexpensive but good knife, the RR Eureka Stockman on the right - with other Stockman comrades. Thanks, Will.

Thank you my friend for the two Primbles and stash!!!:)

Fantastic stuff Primble, two outstanding knives from a truly outstanding gentleman. Duncan certainly is The Man!

Jack - thank you for the feedback and very generous offer. I'm already quite indebted to you my friend. :)

I'll try to pick one up soon Stephen. In the meantime, there should be a package arriving any day now ;)

That's a superb Doctor's Knife BTW my friend

Cream cheese, onion, celery, bell pepper, and jalapeno. Dust with Tonys, wrap in bacon.

Bam! ;) :D

Hope you all had a great Labour Day folks

Ebony in my pocket today :)

I did not force it myself, but asked Glenn to do it for me since he had to disassemble the knife to remove the pen blade. Hopefully he will chime in and tell us. My guess is vinegar though :)

Fausto

You are correct, Fausto. Nothing fancy, just a little vinegar. It was convenient to do it while the knife was apart. but tough to maintain it while doing the finish work after assembly.

My newly acquired Buck 301 which is dedicated to my late great father.
I love this knife and look forward to using it for many things from whittling and fishing to anything else I throw at it.:D
