What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Primble
The Hatch really looks good after its spa treatment!!

Labor done for the day so I thought I would switch to this:

Marshall Wells Hardware Co
Gift: from Paul Hilborn:D

The Cotton Harvest

Thank you Gevo. I have not done all that much to it. Mostly 0000 steel wool on the ebony and blades, and then a little rubbing on the bolsters and shield. Mark did the patina work, before he sent it to me.

I am liking it a lot and I like your Marshall Wells a lot too. Enjoyed the history and nice of Paul. I think we could both get a pass into the Whitby "Black Horse" with these knives. ;):D

I guess we will have to wait to find out what Jack thinks about that. :D

Oh ...I'm still dreaming of Whitby! It has it all and a few pints with you three at the "Black Horse" ...beam me up Scotty

This is for you Jennifer, my Sunday/Monday carry
Pete

Pete, glad you finally came to your senses and stopped taking photos of SNAKES. I am most grateful. Once again, on your carry choices.

Great pics. Awesome knives!

Thanks and you're exactly right! It's a 1965-1969. I just got it in today and it is a fantastic knife!

Thanks to you Primble and Gev! The compliment means a lot coming from you two considering all of the wonderful old knives you each have.

BEAUTIFUL vintage CASE red bone!!! #6207 Mini Trapper with pen blade?

Ha! Here I was just pondering the post right above trying to figure out what model this is, seeing it's a 65-69 I believe? Baffled ref the pen blade and then next post is PH saying what it is! hehe

PH you sure do know your old Case knives :)

I've been doing some reading up on this one. It seems that these older ones with pen secondary were marketed as a "Serpentine Jack" and then later it became the Mini Trapper. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

"Yes! We have no bananas, we have no bananas today!"

But I'm lucky enough to have Rotten Banana Bone today:D

Thanks, Will

Thank you Jack. I was inspired by your carries today. :)

Wow, fantastic Gev! Paul is such a thoughtful guy, reminds me a little of the lovely old Boker he sent me, one of my absolute favourite knives :)

I wrestled my Radio Jack out of my pocket today to make way for the Charlow that Stephen (Old & In The Way) sent me recently :)

It does ...and I sure am enjoying this Marshall immensely. It is such a solidly built knife and I think it is quite old...makes me feel like I have a part of history in my pocket. Paul...is no doubt one of the best!

Your carry today deserves the attention. What a fiery beauty! Stephen knocked it out of the park!
