What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Carried that little peanut again today. Cut some more tape with it. It's just so handy to have in the pocket and it is so light, you don't even notice it. You just have to know it's there. Sweet!! Thanks again Vince.

this one this week as it came a few days ago, not great as it has some blade play and non flat spring that angles the blade when opened, they sanded the tang to lay the blade flatter when closed too (still a OK deal)

besides this technical flaws it looks pretty good, nice harvest pocket worn bone and works well, my gecs are better though..

Nice looking patina on those blades:thumbup:

Maxx, that harvest orange is their best lately I think. I was looking at them at the outdoor shop.

I've taken to carrying a Rough Rider Stockman regularly.
That is until I pull the trigger on a Case blue jigged bone peanut that I've had my eye on for the past few weeks...

Grilling time today and I used the Schrade 194OT to open the sausage packs and cut the links up for the grill. Sausage, hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, deviled eggs. All of that has left me in misery this afternoon. And I didn't get to the key lime pie dessert yet!

Hope everyone had a great holiday!!!

For today....

I carried this same knife today!!
Well, not THIS same knife.
I mean one that looks just like it!!
LOL. Anyway, since today was about celebrating the American worker, I carried my US made Schrade 108OT, and used it while making dinner. I used it to cut the tops of the ears of corn off when peeling them, and then later used it to cut the corn off the ear to eat. I also used it to take a test cut into the burgers to see if they were done grilling. A very handy knife, and a whole lot of cutting ability in a tiny package.

Since I started practicing my freehand sharpening I have been carrying an Orange Schrade Large Stockman. BUT I think I got the sharpening down and I tackled my GEC Furtaker. Now I have absolutely no hair on my arms and a Yellow Rose in my pocket. :)

Labor Day is always a day to ready for fall turkey and deer seasons. I 'labored' this UH around today in the woods. Really not a bad carry, but could use a belt sheath for it. Larger than my normal pocket companions.

Carrying my Buck 303 stockman that my dad gave me over the weekend. If I read 300Buck's seminars correctly, it's a Camillus, made between '71 and '74, just like me. I'm also trying a minimalist experiment, and carrying only this knife. Feels right, too.

I dropped this little Erickson in my pocket today and stuffed a bandana on top of it, per Jackknife's instructions.
